Sage was considerate enough to send me a link to this video. The “little guy” she speaks of is my son. I will never forget any of the nurses in the NICU or TICU, but Sage has a truly special place in my heart forever!! I know one day she will attend his graduation, wedding, etc. She means that much to me, and one day he will understand how much he was loved at CHOA. He will be 5 next month and I owe a lot of his success to Sage!!

Apparently Sage was one of the many nurses my Grandson DJ Gibson had taking care of him at CHOA until he was moved to Children’s Mercy in KCMO. He will be 5 yoa next month and without Sage and the many caring NICU nurses he wouldn’t be here…………..Thank you Sage and all the Dr’s and Nurses at CHOA. Just a note – he loves running in church and leading the congregation in singing……….he sings praises to the Lord at the top of his little voice. Everyone has watched him grow and
watched a miracle happen right before our eyes. I thank God every day for this # 6 of 6 grandsons. He is amazing. Gramma

The families who get to have you as their nurse are very lucky. I only hope that if one of my children ever needs medical attention one day, that they are lucky enough to have a nurse who cares the way you do.

I’ve heard stories about Sage and her caring for years, yet I’ve cried each time I’ve watched this video. The children are fortunate to have Sage, because she truly takes each child to heart and sees them as an individual; Sage is fortunate to have the opportunity to touch their lives in a way that few will ever do. A great hospital. A great staff. Congratulations.

This lovely lady is my grandaughter. Words cannot express my love for her. I am very proud and pleased by her accomplishments. Sage is very compassionate and loves working with the children.
